When someone opens a 3D Configurator just to “play around,” most businesses don’t expect much to come from it. But for May, one of ShedPro’s sharpest Project Coordinators, that curiosity often becomes the first step toward a confident sale.

With a talent for listening closely and making tech feel personal, May helps shed builders get the most out of every tool. From website launches to real-time quoting systems, she ensures they never feel like they’re figuring things out alone.

This is Episode 3 of Behind the Build, a series that highlights the people powering ShedPro from the inside. From our Service Delivery team and focused Project Coordinators to our marketers, designers, developers, and QA leads, these are the experts who streamline your setup, fine-tune your tools, and help your shed business grow stronger every day.

May joined ShedPro inspired by more than just the tech. She was drawn to the fast-paced, collaborative culture and the shared sense of purpose. Every day, she works with shed builders of all sizes, helping them align ShedPro’s technology with the unique way they do business.

“I love working with people from different backgrounds across the shed industry,” May says. “Every business has its own rhythm. I enjoy helping them streamline and grow without losing what makes them unique.”

That personalized approach is what led to a standout success story with Jeff from North Country Storage Barns. After getting set up with ShedPro’s website and 3D Configurator, Jeff saw around 50 quote requests come through. 25 to 30 of those turned into confirmed sales.

“He was blown away,” May shares. “The Configurator didn’t just help with quoting. It pulled customers in, kept them engaged, and made the sales process smoother from start to finish.”

Even casual users of the Configurator—those just exploring—proved valuable. Jeff mentioned that while some were “just playing,” the tool kept his business top of mind when they were ready to buy.

May points to another powerful story from Luke at Foote’s Amish Sheds. Unlike many dealers who saw a dip in sales over the past few years, Foote’s experienced an increase. He credited their ShedPro website and 3D Configurator setup as a key factor in that success.

“Luke told us that the tools helped them stand out and outperform other dealers,” May recalls. “He also said we did a great job building the site, which meant a lot.”

Jeff also praised the monthly reports May provides, describing them as clear, easy-to-understand snapshots of performance. “He appreciated that the data was actionable without being overly technical,” she says.

Feedback like this reinforces May’s mission: make powerful tools accessible and help builders succeed without the overwhelm.

May believes many shed builders don’t realize what kind of support they could be getting.

“They’re missing out on a team that understands both the tech and the people using it,” she says. “We don’t push one-size-fits-all solutions. We adjust our approach based on how each business operates.”

That hands-on approach helps reduce friction and builds trust from day one. As May explains, ShedPro’s support team has evolved over time. It has grown more specialized, more collaborative, and more efficient with every launch.

“We now have clearer roles, better documentation, and tighter feedback loops with the dev team,” she says. “We solve problems faster and spot them before they affect the client.”

In addition to one-on-one support, May is actively working behind the scenes to improve training and documentation across the board. From expanding Helpdesk articles to creating more structured onboarding resources, she’s helping shed builders feel confident managing their own platforms.

“Our goal is to make everything easier to understand and easier to use,” she explains. “The right tools should help you simplify operations and serve your customers better, not add more to your plate.”

She sees ShedPro as a way to free up builders so they can focus on what they do best, without the roadblocks of outdated systems or confusing software.

May believes that what sets ShedPro apart is not just responsiveness, it’s responsibility.

“We take ownership,” she says. “We listen, adjust, and always want our clients to succeed. That’s what keeps them with us and what keeps them recommending us.”

That mindset fuels every project, from building websites that convert to helping teams fully leverage the 3D Configurator. As ShedPro grows, May is proud to grow alongside it and bring her clients along every step of the way.

Whether you’re exploring new ways to engage customers or need a reliable partner to help scale your shed business, our Service Delivery team is ready to help.

When you work with ShedPro, you get more than software. You get a team that’s all in on your success.
